The Club meets at 7.30 pm on the 4th Thursday of each month at Buller REAP.
A typical meeting begins with a friendly cuppa and a catch-up before we view the printed and projected entries from the previous month’s club competition. The guest judge offers constructive comments and awards points or each image. The monthly club competition is optional and is a great way to get constructive feedback and tips for your photography. The categories for the competition changes each month and you can enter up to two prints and/or two projected images.
Regular Workshops are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month and follow a programme developed in consultation with members. The workshop is typically a comination of presentation, demonstration, hands-on practice and fieldwork, and recent examples have been on Basic Digital Photography, Introduction to Lightroom, Portrait Photography, Night Photography, Close-up & Nature Photography, Preparing a Portfolio, Pattern, Texture & Abstract Photography, and Monochrome Photography.
All activities are focused on helping members improve their knowledge and skill while at the same time promoting our mantra: Fun, Fellowship and Photography.
We always welcome visitors and new members, so come along and see for youself how much fun photography can be.
